Alexander Maier and Michael Bock, both CRC1425 researchers of P15, are being awarded with a DFG research grant investigating monocyte migration from hematopoietic organs after myocardial infarction in a human size pig model with fluorine MRI. The grant is endowed with 716 800 € for 3 years to validate 19F nanoemulsions as a potential prognostic marker after myocardial infarction or to characterize the efficacy of new immune-modulating compounds. This project will closely collaborate with the CRC1425.
